Through your planned gift, you can help carry on the heritage of the Dominican Order for the coming generations.

Pope Saint John Paul II, in his letter on Consecrated Religious Life, points out that, “By virtue of their dedication lived in fullness and in joy, consecrated women are called in a very special way to be signs of God’s tender love towards the human race and to be special witnesses to the mystery of the Church, Virgin, Bride and Mother.” (Vita Consecrata 57) Inspired by this truth as lived through the ages of Church history, the Community of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist was founded and is firmly rooted in the heart of Mother Church.

As Dominican mendicants, the Sisters must rely on the magnificence and generosity of their friends and benefactors. Please know that your planned gift will enable them to fully live their Religious Consecration as Sisters with the full embodiment of their Founder St. Dominic’s charism. St. Dominic possessed a profound zeal for the salvation of souls which radiates through all the Sisters’ prayers and works.

The contemplative dimension of the Sisters’ life is nurtured through prayer, study and fidelity to living the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. The graces obtained through this fidelity propel the Sisters to leave the monastic dwelling in efforts to bring the fruits of their prayer to the world through their teaching and preaching. The desire to reach everyone with the truth and love of Christ finds the Sisters engaged in a variety of apostolic works from Catholic education to digital media.

Please pray for the Sisters, that they might let Christ’s light shine through them into every darkness and be a visible sign of God’s tender love across the world.
