Detroit and St. Clair Shores, MI

Jun 21, 2016

The Dominican Sisters of Mary are grateful to be serving for the eighth year in the Archdiocese of Detroit at our St. Clair Shores mission convent.  Sr. Maria Guadalupe is the new principal at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic School along with Sr. Mary Jacinta (middle school math), Sr. Imelda Marie (2nd grade), and Sr. Zelie Marie (1st grade).

The Sisters are happy to continue to support the work of the New Evangelization in Archdiocese of Detroit and in its mission to Unleash the Gospel.  The Sisters are grateful for the continued support of Archbishop Allen Vigneron and Fr. David Cybulski. They look forward to serving the St. Isaac Jogues community this year and to receiving all the many graces that God has in store.

In 1997, John Cardinal O’Connor of New York canonically established the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist as a community of religious women.

Our apostolate follows upon preaching and teaching the Truth in order to gain souls for the Kingdom of Christ.
