God bless America! Patriotism is a virtue!

The 2019-2020 school year is our second year at Saint Agnes School in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The Education in Virtue program is in its first full year and the school’s “Virtue Assemblies” continue to operate remotely through Distance Learning. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Sisters were able to host five of our apostolic Novices as part of their formation as they continue to learn what it means to be a Consecrated Religious in the classroom. They were a wonderful addition in the halls of Saint Agnes School, whose convent can actually hold 50 Sisters! The Sisters also took 30 high schoolers on a 24-hour bus ride for the March for Life in Washington, DC, and Sr. Teresa Christi was the keynote speaker at the NET Ministries Vocations Lifeline event in February.

Just when we thought life could not get any fuller, the Lord had other plans for 2020! As Distance Learning began, the Sisters were asked to be part of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul-Minneapolis’ Virtual Holy Week Retreat. They also livestreamed the Rosary for the Saint Agnes School Community.

The Sisters continue to offer daily prayers for the health and safety of everyone and for the end of the pandemic!
