After a year of oscillating between in-person and online instruction last year, life at Marin Catholic High School was back in person from day one of the 2021-2022 school year. With retreats, the sacraments program, sports, performances, clubs, and social events back in full swing, the Sisters delighted in seeing their students grow and learn in and outside of the classroom.

In addition to teaching theology, history, English, and math, the Sisters had many opportunities to support their students and peers by leading small groups and giving talks on retreats; participating in prayer groups culminating in consecrations to Mary and Joseph; and leading faith formation groups among the faculty. Other highlights included teaching the liturgy choir Mozart’s Ave Verum for the last all-school Mass of the year, leading the parent book club through Willa Cather’s “Shadows on the Rock,” and raising over $200 for a local pregnancy resource center with the Respect Life Club.

Beyond Marin Catholic, the Sisters had many occasions to proclaim the Gospel by speaking at young adult retreats, women’s gatherings and Confirmation meetings. They also hosted young women discerning a vocation to religious life for afternoon tea and Vespers. The Lord continues to bless the Sisters with wonderful and inspiring students and friends as they relish the beauty of God’s creation in sunny California!
