In the beautiful shadow of Mount Tamalpais, the Sisters have been hard at work serving the students of Marin Catholic High School. This has taken the form of Theology, Math, English, and History, as well as directing liturgy choir, chaperoning many retreats, and our monthly Eucharistic Holy Hours. However, as of March, this apostolate took on a new form as the COVID-19 pandemic transformed our computer screens into our classrooms! Yet in the face of these unusual changes, our teaching charism persists. Via Zoom, we have persevered through digital Socratic Seminars, algebra demonstrations, morality presentations, and literary analyses. Additionally, we have participated in several digital vocation panels which put us in touch with young women from around the world.

As we wrap up this school-year-to-remember, we have also paid (socially-distanced) visits to our departing senior class, delivering their “graduation kits” in anticipation of when we can eventually celebrate their four years at Marin Catholic as one Wildcat family! When not teaching, California’s travel restrictions have afforded us many opportunities to enjoy the local trails, allowing us to be a visible witness to joy and hope in this uncertain time. Please know of our prayers!
